Offered by Corner Rods and Classics isthis beautifully restored 1947 GMC Cab Over Car Hauler. The project has just been finished and is now ready to sell.
The cab has been placed on a Chevrolet Chassis with a 454ci V8 gasoline engine and a 400 Turbo Automatic Transmission. Don't let the Vintage Shifter in the pics fool you. It is an Automatic. It also has beenfitted with a new Aluminum radiator, Hydro Boost 4 wheel disc brakes and Power Steering. This truck also has (Vintage Air) Heat and A/C, 6 New Tires, a 1 piece windshield and 2 speed electric wipers (Newport Engineering). We've added Power Windows and a Tilt steering column. The engine has been moved to the Chassis just behind the cab which gives good access and allowed us to take the hump out of the cab floor for added leg room. Very nice Aluminum wheels which add a polished look to the truck. 2 new Jobox tool boxesadded into the side of the bed plus thefloor of the bed has been protected with aspray on bed liner for durability and good traction when yourup thereworking. We've added a 12,000lb wench and nicely placed tie downs. Italso has slide out car ramps for loading and Heavy Duty Sway bars, front and back for good handling.
