One will be hard-pressed to find another short-box four wheel drive as well-preserved as this GMC Sierra with the Z71 trim and off-road package! Especially one that is 100% rust free with excellent quality original paint that still shines some minor imperfections include minor door dings Rock chips, minor paint chipping that original owner appear to have touched up it is being offered as part of a Family Estate. I have collector cars of my own and have never seen one this well-preserved if it does not bring what we feel it should bring in today's present Market I will purchase it for myself. I will make an honest and comprehensive description as follows; everything is in working order on this truck and is represented here honestly and descriptively such as run ability being very strong sometimes idles a little high with the AC on which blows very cold, radio works as well as all of the safety equipment.. both windows work one window has wrinkled Sun screen, windshield has a small rock chip towards the very top interior is in excellent conditionthe dash is not cracked all the gauges work the seats are not ripped or worn however the driver seat is a little soiled we did not shampoo the interior,the original floor mats remain. The headliner is not sagging, the carpeting is in nice condition also has not been shampooed. The owner had installed a cable hood latch lock which has a key directly under the steering column also a cut off to the starter is in operable condition which has control boxes underneath the dash and a switch underneath the engine compartment. I've been driving the truck electing not to use any of these items and it just does not interfere with anything. The bed of this truck is in excellent condition however previous owner had touched it up with spray paint after Servicing the fuel pump and cutting an access door with hinges so the bed will not have to be removed again to access the fuel pump, a reasonably good job appears to have been done with sealing tape around the door. The paint on this truck is in very good condition especially for its being original there are a few minor touch-ups as stated. The engine compartment is very clean and not over detailed (5.7 tbi) the underside of the vehicle seems very clean and rarely used off road, it looks like aftermarket shocks have been installed but nothing else has been altered. The tires have plenty of tread on them drive straight and have been wearing evenly however they are aged. Original aluminum rims are an extremely nice well-preserved condition.The brakes squeal at times but seem to engage at the top of the pedal. The truck drives very nice down the highway at 70 miles per hour. This is a very nice honest original truck somewhat hard to find short box Z71 option and in very good original condition.
