Before you send me that awful question, "what's your reserve or bottom line", let's take a moment to explain market values and how to get a deal on eBay. There isn't any "Book Value" from the Kelly Blue Book or NADA Guide on a car like this. Figures both selling and buying for cars like this are subjective in nature and the only number that counts, if you are the seller, is the one from a serious buyer that makes you an offer. Over 29 years in thebusiness, dealers like myself, buy and sell by looking at what it must have taken to build a car like this and take a rough guess as to what someone might buy it for. Do I have an asking price, sure if you want to hear me shoot at the moon, but that number will have nothing to do with what you may offer whether that's higher or lower. That is why we sell exclusively on eBay and at other reputable auctions. The numbers or offers come from the buyers that are serious and just like me, make their own minds up as to what they are willing to spend. We arehere to sell cars. With fourteen yearsexclusivelyon eBay and perfect feedback, it's obvious we do.

Asking through email for my bottom line? Well, I just think you're not too serious or willing to make an offer; makes it a waste of my time and yours. If you just want to know what the market value is, do what we do, look atthe car closely and the condition and use market values for similar cars...if you can find one this nice. If that doesn't help, just pull a figure you're willing to spend out of the air that you think is fair and reasonable and call or better yet, bid that number... that puts you in the game as opposed to just being a tire kicker wasting everyone's time. If you want to build one from scratch, it'll easily cost you that and about four to five times what you might buy this one for. Most important though, since you "are" a serious and capable buyer, call me and let's talk. It seems like I always get to have the coolest cars and trucks and this is another one you are going to like for sure. Start at the beginning. I bought a classic Mustang a year ago from a client and a year later had to get a document signed from him. I called and set an appointment to meet with him and went to his Las Vegas home. While there, he asked me if I was interested in buying another classic car..."Of Course" I exclaimed. Where and what? Out in his six car garage, he shows me this 1977 GMC Sprint SP. It looked great other than the wheels, just mundane alloys were on it at the time. He told me that this had been his daily driver since it blew ice cold AC and never left him stranded as it drove in the hottest of summer months with overheating at all. We made a deal and I went back to my shop with my signed document and this great truck. The ride home was awesome! He was right, cold AC, tinted windows and a great looking ride that didn't falter for a second. Everything works, the paint has just a few minor blemishes but none that take away from the truck at all. We installed a set of Vintage Western Wheels and a brand new set of BF Goodrich Radial TAs, gave the car a good detail...took pictures and made a video and here it is.

When I bought the GMC, the owner told me the original engine was replaced with a modern mid 80s asperated 350ci with the serpentine belt drives and electric fans for cooling. She starts immediately, runs like a clock and never overheats, even in triple digit temps. Doesn't leak, we installed brand new brake pads on the fronts and the undercarriage was stunningly beautiful and rust free too. The Sprint has never been in a wreck, the paint is the original color and shines just like you see in the pictures...beautiful. The winshield had a big crack in it so I replaced that too. The truck needs nothing otrher than an excited new owner wanting a great ride that you could proudly take to any car show and see a ton of appreciation for the beauty and great looks on this great ride. I would be confident to express to any new owner that they could drive it home with confidence anywhere in the US, Canada or Mexico...and enjoy the AC while you go...but we can help you get it shipped too if you need.

High Quality restoration/refurbishing and maintained. The bright trim is in excellent condition, the wheels are beautiful, the bumpers are fantastic...she's an extreme quality GMC Sprint that could be driven daily and taken to the shows confidently...just don't expect perfection or museum concours but don't worry, you won't have to pay that much for it either. Just note that this is probably one of the nicest drivers out there on the market.

If just seeing the rear stance of this car wasn't enough for you to pull the trigger, I don't know what it'll take. I staggered the size on the tires to a 275 rear and the stance is perfect.

The vinyl top is in great condition. It looks like it may have had a topper sealed on it at one time but it barely shows that evidence...always look through my hundreds of pictures as nothing is ever hidden on my ads. I take great care in making sure you see everything that I would hope to see and I know you need to see to make a fair offer. This GMC Sprint is well above average in condition, so when you consider your bids, be serious and confident that this great truck will not be the cheapest one out there but it is not over priced by any means either. Just bid real buyable figures and you'll probably win the auction.

I am a “used car dealer” but before that, I’m an automobile enthusiast. I love original rare and high quality modified vintage cars and over the past decade I’ve been in business, have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles. I specialize in and am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners. They do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and nothing escapes their methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about me. Moreover; it allows my writer to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless he thinks it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction.

After the vehicle is fully sorted it arrives at our facility where it encounters the suspicious eye of Tom, my writer that creates the presentations you see on eBay. He believes absolutely nothing I or anyone else tells him about the car as he combs over every inch, researches its history and documents originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 150 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I’ve developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so meticulously clean. This reconditioning can sometimes take several days and I’ve converted a paint booth, especially prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each car lovingly receives.

Usually, I’ll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it’s a fast car, we film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4 you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch the temperature fall on a digital, laser thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many “dealers” will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? We do.

No “dealer,” on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase, that my vehicle is for real and what I say is the truth. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay.
