1977 Sierra Classic Short Box. I'll tell you what I know about this truck and I'll honestly tell you what I believe about this truck. It was delivered new to a guy in GA. The original owners manual and option order list are still with the vehicle and tell us this. I bought the truck a few years ago and I believe it to be original miles. I bought it with 76,000 and it now has 81,700 plus on it. It starts, runs, stops and drives like a low miles truck should so I have no reason to believe its not original miles. It's obvious all the trim is original. Very straight for a truck of this vintage. Everything works too, AC, electric windows and locks, cruise and tilt. The cruise is a little wonky but does work. Radio is not orig but looks good in the truck and is not all cobbled up. Speaker were cut into the door panels at one point. The truck has the super rare bucket seat interior. Headliner is near perfect as are the door cards. Dash pad has some ripples but no cracks. I think it has nearly every option short of two tone paint and it came ordered with a 305 instead of the more common 350. I believe that at least portions of the truck have had a repaint at some time and someone attempted to detail the engine bay with a rattle can..but its not bad and the original paint is on the firewall. The glass is original to the truck. The windshield has a couple small chips/cracks. Everything is here sand working. The lowering was done by Lakeside Rods in Rockwell city IA using a McGaughy's 4"x6" lowering kit. 20" US MAGS Sierra wheels. I've had several lowered vehicles and this is a very nice riding truck. I replaced the front bumper..it came with the ugly black rub strip bumper from the factory...but I have all of the original parts including factory ralley wheels, bumper, jack, and springs. This is an awesome truck...not show quality but very nice driver quality..no rust, has a good shine and looks awesome from 10'. I might be underselling here. It's nice.
