Description of 1980 GMC C6000 Sierra |
For sale to the highest bidder: Another truck from my personal collection: I had planned to shorten the frame on this truck and add a dually pickup bed, making a "monster" pick-up truck, but have way too many projects to finish them all. Ebay does not recognize the VIN, which is why I had to list as a 1980, however, *This truck is a 1988 Model year* GMC C6000 Medium/Heavy Duty Flatbed Truck (like Chevy C60) -19,200 Gross weight Rating -5.7L 350ci V8 Gas Engine (previous owner claimed it was a Jasper rebuilt but have not verified) -4 Speed Manual Transmission -2 Speed Eaton Rear Axle -24k Curt Gooseneck hitch with wiring -More desirable Budd style wheels (Not Dayton Style) -Cab corners, rockers, and doors are Ultra clean on this truck. Some rust through on bottoms of fenders and lower edges of hood (both sides). -Frame measures 12.5 feet from back of cab to end of frame rails. Truck is titled as a Flatbed. Truck currently has a Chevy grille as shown in pictures, but I have the correct GMC grille that I will install if the buyer prefers. Some jack-wagon stole the stereo before I got the truck and broke the dash bezel. Thankfully the DIN opening in the dash board was not damaged(see photo) Please ask any questions prior to bidding. I have done my best to accurately represent the vehicle for sale. I am a hobbyist and a collector, NOT a dealer or certified Mechanic. Therefore: vehicle is sold AS IS, where is, with NO warranty, expressed or implied. |
