up for auction is a 1971 GMC Sierra Grande short bed truck. this is a 3 owner truck, the truck originally came from North Carolina, The truck has its original 396 big block motor and automatic transmission. The truck was ordered with the following options; body side molding, a/c, suspension package (leaf springs), brake booster, turbo hydromatic transmission, chrome packagebumpers, amp/oil gauge, tinted glass, front stabilizer, rear posi trac axle, 396 cubic inch engine, power steering, radio push button, sierra grande package, custom sport truck package. The truck was ordered almostfully optioned except for the tachometer. The truck was originally white with olive green interior which is now black. The truck from what I can tell has had one factory repaint in the past, displays well but not perfect. This truck is above average driver quality, but not a show truck. would not take much to take it to show truck level. The second owner purchased the truck and used it as a fun driver on the weekends and used it as a truck. He did put in a spray in bed liner to haul cargo, the bed is very solid with no rot or rust issues that I can see, liner was put in for more function. everything works on the truck, the a/c was just serviced and blows cold, has a new starter and new electrical fuel pump installed. There have been some nice upgrades to the motor, new edelbrock carb, Mallory distributor and edelbrock intake. I do have the original carb, fuel pump and distributor that go with the truck if you want them. the truck has factoryfront wheel disc brakes and stops excellent, the motor runs excellent and does not smoke what so ever. there is a small transmission drip. The wheels and tires are very nice and tires have about 75 % tread on them still. chrome displays well and the interior is very nice, exhaust sounds deep and throaty, duals with magnaflow mufflers. this truck is basically get in and g, a great weekend cruiser. Truck is sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied, I will assist in shipping in any way I can, $500.00 deposit dues within 24 hours of auction end the rest due in cash, cashiers check or wire transfer, truck can be picked up once funds have cleared. No trades. Thanks
