Description of 1983 GMC Sierra 3500 |
I don't think this 83 GMC c3500 is really a gasser. rat rod or a semi. but I'm not really sure what to call it. But it must have caught your eye. It is currently my daily driver but I am selling it to start a new project. The stock 350 engine in this truck runs very well. The "Granny Gear 4 speed" also works as it should. This project started by purchasing the 8 to 10 lug wheel adapters from KT Performance for the rear. Then the Good Year 445/509R 22. 5 SUPER SINGLE tires and aluminum wheels were added as well as the lowering kit for the rear which lowered the rear eight inches. We then added Maximizer rear fenders. The Front is lowered four inches. It has Continental 225/70R 19. 5 front tires. Rotors. pads. calipers. bearings. and brake hoses in the front are new. Big Rig 5th wheel plate to add to the effect. Functional five inch dual stacks. Saddle tanks. one for gas the other for air. Has a belt driven air compressor. Air horn with pull valve just like the big rigs. LED tail. brake. turn. and buck up lights mounted in a stainless light panel. All lights and gauges work. The Truck was Ziebarted when new. It cruises down the highway at about 2000 RPM @ 60mph. Also has a receiver hitch and trailer brake controller. This truck is not perfect but it is fun to drive and it gets a lot of attention! On Feb-21-15 at 20:10:58 PST. seller added the following information:You Tube Video https://www. youtube. com/watch?v=gSMet9CHC6w |
