Introduced in 1981, the GMC Sonoma and Chevrolet S-10 were compact pickup trucks that replaced the Isuzu built LUV. Available with four and six cylinder power plants and available 4WD, the compact trucks were very successful and the first generation models soldiered on until 1993. This truck has been painstakingly built by its current owner who claims to have only put 50 miles on the truck since the builds completion. Everything has been gone through and the truck features a tubbed rear end with massive rear tires. The engine is a fully build GM 350cid V8 that features eagle rods and crack, new heads, 11.0:1 compression ratio, tunnel ram, MSD ignition, 4000 stall converter, 10in Chevy rear end, 4.11 rear gears, Aluminum radiator, rear mounted fuel cell, rear mounted battery with cutoff, and an auto valve body. The interior is very stock apart from a multitude of gauges. A B&M ratchet shifter is fitted as well as a 750 watt stereo. This mean machine is a fully built truck that is turn key ready and is ready to have some runs. The engine fires up right away and the truck is surprisingly docile on the road.
