Description of 1985 GMC Other

1985 GMC K1500. big block 454. turbo 350 trans. 1 ton real axle with 8"+ suspension & body lift over 38. 5” Super Swampers. I purchased the truck December 2014 with the intent on making it to more of a daily. around-town driver. The truck. in its current state. is totally setup for serious off-road fun. The exterior paint is in real good condition along with the interior needing minor attention. Upon receive the truck immediate attention was given to the fuel line and intake process. First. the truck came with a secondary after-market fuel tank that was suspect along with the electrical switch between both tanks. This tank and switch were removed. Then. primary tank was lowered. cleaned. installed new sending unit. new fuel lines and filter. new fuel pump and new Edelbrock carburetor. I also got up underneath and gave the under-body a non-professional cleaning. black touch-up frame paint. and gave the original Rancho 9000 shocks a fresh coat of red paint (mind you. all non-professional). I'm selling the truck due to my occupational responsibilities changing. requiring me to drive much more than I had planned when originally purchasing the truck. I would love to keep the truck as a toy. but that's not where I'm at in life right now.
