Description of 1985 GMC Sierra 1500

This is a 1985 4 wheel drive gmc classic Sierra with all the bells and whistles. First of all this is not a show truck but a dawn great every day driver. I believe it was a one owner until I purchased it about 6 months ago. A 93 old gentleman had it and he passed away and one of his great friends inherited it. Nothing has ever been hauled in the bed from what I was told. I wanted to two tome the truck and my painter kept it 4 months and I lost interest in the truck. The previous owner tried to in my opinion to repaint the truck but he did not do a good job to me. Truck needs to be wet sanded and buffed to have a nice shine. I would only just drive it as is. Truck has had some repair work on both of the bottom of the doors and look like the driver rocker has been replaced but it looked like the rocker repair was very nice in my opinion. Truck other sheet metral is extremely nice. Inside bed is immaculate and I saw new brake lines on the truck. Tires are pretty nice. From what I can see everything works as it should. I was told that the truck has never been put in 4 wheel drive before. Interior is awesome. I drove the truck about 200 miles when I purchased it and had a blow out 5 miles from my house. I posted 2 or 3 pics of the truck when it was solid blue. I want to be extremely clear about the description of the truck. It’s a great driver and not a show truck. It could be torn down and restored and could be a super high dollar truck. It needs some attention here and there but I would just wet sand and buff it and just drive the crap out of the ole truck. Truck looks great and is an eye catcher. Again a driver not a show truck but one that could be restored. Please please please ask any and all questions before you bid.
