Description of 1993 GMC Suburban

1993 GMC Suburban 3/4 Ton 4x4 . has mostly highway miles and rides nice. Engine runs good . no smoke or knocks . as overhauled about 50. 00 miles ago. Recently the transmission failed and I removed it and rebuilt it. It did not work properly when reinstalled. I removed it and went thru it again . only to have the same issues when put back in the truck. I am DONE !As it sits the truck is drivable but it seems to have a problem with reverse dragging. like the brake is applied while moving backwards. Also it is in "limp Mode" and only goes forward in second gear. In other words it needs the transmission repaired or replaced. It has a 5. 7 (350) engine and the transmission is a GM 4L80EThe truck has normal wear for its age . one small dent on drivers rear quarter. It runs . rides and stops good . doesn't leak or use oil. If you are looking for a safe family vehicle. this is it. Repair or replace the trans and you will have a good. dependable. safe 4x4 for the winter Clear AZ Title.
