Description of 1971 GMC CE2500

This is a spectacular mostly original southern truck. This gorgeous rare truck was owned by a gentleman who was a classic car collector. This truck was his pride and joy. He passed away three months ago, and we bought it from his son who was also deeply involved with this truck. It was always garaged at night and he did not even want to drive it in the rain.
This gorgeous truck was built at the Atlanta Chevrolet/GMC factory and stayed here its whole life. This truck is an extremely rare camper special fleetside. The body and paint are original and close to perfect. The interior is also near perfect. The seats, headliner and door panels look like they are one or two years old. It is drop dead gorgeous. The chrome also is fantastic and looks like it is almost new, but it is original. The dash and instruments are beautiful.
The 350 V8 is powerful and very nice sounding because the owner added dual exhausts and headers with an Edelbrock manifold. The truck runs great.
This is a rare find. It is very difficult to find a great 2500 and about impossible to find an original that has not been in salt or snow and looks close to new. It is also fitted with a matching set of Michelin tires. Drive it daily, or drive it to car shows, most everyone that sees it would like to own it.
This is an original unrestored truck that is about impossible to find.
