For sale is my 1972 GMC K2500. I don't know a lot about thisvehicle. The odometer reads 3865, but I have no idea if that isaccurate. I purchased this vehicle and was told that it was driven about10 years ago. It was a high school student's project in shop class. The paint and body work are not very good, although the only real rust issues Ican see are the typical rocker panels. It has, I believe, a 6" lifton it, blocks in the rear and springs in the front. I have what I thinkare the original front springs and front drive shaft that will be sold with thevehicle. When the young man put the lift kit on and raised the body, thefront drive shaft was, of course, too short and he never bought/built one tofit. The engine was supposedly overhauled by a professionalmechanic. Those are the things that I was told, but can not guarantee anyof that to be true or false. What I do know is that I cleaned out thefuel tank and lines and did some minor tuning and the engine does start andsounds healthy with no noises or smoke. The carburetor runs rich until itwarms up and surely needs a kit. I have not attempted to drive thevehicle. I have a signed title. I believe it has the originaldrivetrain, but not for certain. Shipping is the responsibility of thenew owner. $500 will be due from the purchaser via paypal within 24 hoursof purchase and are non-refundable. The remainder must be paid bycashier's check, money order or cash before or when the vehicle is pickedup. The vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end thisauction early. There is absolutely no warranty. Original posting deleted and replaced with this one due to discrepancy with reserve price that ebay could not fix once auction started.
