Description of 1986 GMC Jimmy

Selling my personal 1986 GMC full size Jimmy. This truck runs and drives good. it has never been in an accident . The mileage is original and correct. Truck features. Deep tinted glass. Electric tailgate. ntermediate wipers. lectronic Speed con. 4 spd automatic with overdrive. fuel tank shield. Rally wheels. Heavy duty battery. Chromed front bumper. Sierra Classic Equip. ront Quad Shocks. Midnight Blue paint. Sliding Side quarter windows. Folding rear seat. ir Conditioning. Rear Axle 3. 73 Ratio. . 0 Engine produced. 31 gal fuel tank. comfort tilt steering. Halogen High beam headlights. Towing device. Locking hubs automatic. Exterior decor package. H. D. trailer spec. This truck is in need of a cosmetic restoration. It runs good and drives good. 4x4 works as should. All glass is good. tires are good. brakes are good. turn signals work correctly. As I said before it needs a cosmetic restoration which will include:Truck needs new valve cover gaskets. This truck has never had a repaint. so it is not full of bondo. it does however have the rust associated with these trucks. the hood and top has some surface rust. the inner fender wells on the front have a couple of rust holes. the rockers need replaced. one rear lower quarter needs a panel. the bottom area of the bed that meets the tail gate needs a new panel. I have replaced the tailgate already with a good solid one and the rear window works as it should. You can order any part for this you want. the truck is straight. It has a new sending unit. the mechanic was not bright enough to pull the tank. instead he cut himself a hole in the bed to put a new one in. So it needs a patch panel there now. The fuel gauge needs replaced as it is not working. The a/c does still work. and of course will need a charge. It has an aftermarket stereo. Interior will need to be freshed up. it needs a new dash pad. front seat covers. and a nice carpet set would help it. She's due an oil change. This is not Barret Jackson material. it is a very good starting point for an easy restoration. These are good looking trucks and the values of them are on the rise. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. there is a reserve on the truck. If it meets the reserve and you are the high bidder I expect to be paid in full within 5 days of the auction end. regardless of when you want to pick the truck up. I do not see a need for transport as it is fully functional. however if you are using a transport company you are responsible for all transport charges. and I need a 24 hr notice from the transport service So that I can help out in the loading and paperwork process.
