Description of 1989 Honda Civic |
Make: Honda Model: Civic Year: 1989 Transmission: Automatic Miles: 77,500 (Original) Title: Clean Location: Leesburg, L Shipping: I would be happy to meet a shipping company to send the car, ut the buyer will have to set it all up. For sale here I have my daily driver for the past couple of years. It only has 77,500 original miles on it, nd I have the autocheck for the car to prove. There is even an oil change sticker in the window from when the oil was changed in 09 at 56k miles. Mechanically this car is absolutely perfect. When I bought the car it had around 70k miles on it, and it had a bad engine. The owners at the time took the car to Wal-Mart and got the oil changed, nd they overtightened the drain bolt and stripped it out, o the oil eventually leaked out, nd the motor locked up. I bought an engine from a friend who had a wrecked 92 Civic with 86k miles on it, nd when I did I changed out pretty much everything I could with OEM Honda parts including: HeadGasket Headbolts Thermostat Timing Belt Water Pump Tensioner Front Seal Rear Seal Oilpan Gasket Oil Pickup Gasket Full Valvecover Gasket Set Cam Seal Distributor O-Ring Coil NGK Plugs NGK Plug Wires Trans Fluid AC has been recently serviced, o it blows ice cold. ALL OEM HONDA PARTS The car also has new brake pads, rake rotors, nd brake lines. Also has newer tires. The interior of the car is also in very good condition for it's age. If you have ever seen any 88-91 Civics before, hen you will know they are very common for having torn up interior. The exterior of the car isnt the greatest. The original owner of the car was an older lady that parked it under a tree, nd as you can see from the miles the car sat A LOT. It has dents and dings, nd the paint is faded. I built the car to be a car that I could drive forever and not have to worry about fixing a whole bunch. The car gets between 30-32mpg depending on driving. The car was originally sold In Georgia, hen made it's way to Alabama. It has been a southern car all of it's life. It has absolutely zero rust. If you are someone that is looking for a cheaper car that gets good gas mileage, ill run forever, as cold AC, nd aren't terribly worried about appearances, hen this is the car for you. Bads: Dents, ings, aded paint. Also the driver's window regulator is messed up, ut I have one to replace it, nd if I have time it will be replaced, f not it will come with the car. |
