Description of 1993 Honda Del Sol Si 1.6L

1993 Honda Civic del Sol Si 1.6l, spd, 55k. This car gets over 35mpg and is fun to drive! Clutch is excellent, ransmission is tight and strong. Full tune up in July by a service tech that included cap, ires, lugs, tc. Factory air intake with no hacking under the hood. This thing has not been messed with. Four wheel disc brakes. HID's, ith all marker lights, urn signals, azard lights, nd auxiliary lights working. Tinted windows. Rear defrost, ower windows, ower mirrors, old A/C (complete A/C service in July), ot heat, enwood C/D with auxiliary input for iPod. Interior is in excellent condition. Dash is perfect. Rear seat storage compartments are perfect with no broken clips or molding pieces. Airbag has been removed, o "SRS" light is on. It has a new Avenue three-spoke steering wheel with a red leather wrap and logo. eBay coilovers all around and eBay rear lower control arms (a little bouncy in the back, ut not as bad as most of the ones that I have had). 15 x 7.5 Rota 5 deep lip wheels. 195/55's on front with 205/50's on rear. Front tires new in July. Rears new in August. Excellent stance. Needs vehicle speed sensor, s speedometer does not display correct speed (a common issue with Hondas of this vintage, ut does not affect odometer, o miles are accurate...part is $75.00 at O'Reilly). I use the GPS for accurate speed.
Someone tried to close the hood with the prop rod up, o the hood is buckled on both sides. This caused the clearcoat to come up and the paint to suffer on the hood. Clearcoat is also coming off on the mirrors and a couples of other small spots. Otherwise, aint is great and body is in good shape. Targa top storage and locking assembly still in the trunk and complete. All lower molding, ront and rear fascia, nd molded mudflaps are in place and in good condition. Original spare tire still in trunk.
I took this vehicle in trade and have driven it daily for almost four months with absolutely no issues. I have driven it to Nashville and back twice (trip is app 130 miles each way, ostly interstate, nd mountainous) with no issues. The car does not leak and it does not burn oil.
This is one of the best examples of a del Sol Si that you will find to use as your platform for whatever look you desire. I own a shop and would be more than happy to repair the mechanical items, nd even take the car to the next level for you. We can negotiate that after the purchase as a separate deal. These cars are hard to find without all of the mechanicals messed with...or messed up! Don't let this one pass you by...
This would make an excellent first car for that teenager wanting a sporty ride...or for that budget autocross toy that you always wanted to build!
