Description of 1993 Honda Del Sol |
Against my wants, I am putting my RHD Del Sol up for sale. To my knowledge this is a true JDM car. It is right hand drive as well as being a trans top model. The car has a clean and clear Alabama title. The way the car sits is pretty much the way I bought the car. It does run and drive with no issues in the drivetrain. No oil leaks or grinds in the motor or trans. The 15" Enkei RPF-1 wheels have Falken Ziex tires. Now for the known issues (TO MY KNOWLEDGE ALL PARTS REQUIRED TO CORRECT THESE PROBLEMS ARE INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION). The owner I purchased the car from removed the AC due to being in Michigan. AC parts are included so it can be reinstalled. I noticed when I drove the car home (from Detroit, Michigan to Birmingham, Alabama non stop) that the right front blinker was flashing fast. After some troubleshooting, I found that the car had some kind of electrical issue (New bulb and no change). I then noticed that one of the previous owners had cut and modified the chassis harness to install the single cam motor. I have another chassis harness from a dual cam Del Sol SIR to repair this. The previous owner stated that the trans top only worked by the trunk key. I bought all necessary parts to complete the top (correct JDM top because it had a USDM top and tilter motor for the top. Everything that was missing because of a previous owner). After my cross country move back home (Salt Lake to Birmingham) I have noticed that the trans top is not operating electrically even with the key (After research I believe it is a stuck switch). I also have another trunk mechanism that has all the switches, motor and frame that should help with this. I also have extra parts that will go with the car. Due to all the extra parts, local pickup is probably going to be the best solution, but shipping is buyers responsibility. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit will be required within 48 hours of bidding. The remaining balance is due within 7 days unless other arrangements are made. The car does NOT come with any kind of warranty. It is being sold as is. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time due to the car being for sale locally. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. |
