Description of 1972 Honda Z600 Coupe

You are bidding on one very original and mostly complete 1972 Honda Z600. There is no title for the car, bill of sale can be provided. I am selling this for a friend. I tried to help him get it running, it has spark, good compression and turns over...but not fast enough to get it to run. It tries...but it just doesn't want to go. It fired a couple of times....but it sat for a bit....so I imagine the starter is a little weak. New plugs were installed, timing set, points cleaned and adjusted, cylinders coated well with lube before turning engine by hand before attempting startup.
The car was to be a cool project for my friend, he had ideas of doing a RWD conversion with a motorcycle engine...but I convinced him to sell it as is since it was very originaland had what appears to be low miles. I cannot verify the miles are correct, but it would be surprisingif this thing was driven 153K. The last inspection was from 1976!!! It has been in his shop for about a decade plus a few more years. The car does have some rust unfortunately.....but is not so far gone it could not be restored....or if you like...a great parts car. it has had a rough life in it's 53K miles. There are some dents in the rear quarters, driver door is tweaked near the front and had some white paint over it which was sanded back down to original, hood is not bolted on and is dented on the sides where someone obviously tried to open it without the latch.
So, what we have here is up to the buyers discretion. The price is cheap, as he has to thin his herd...you know the story. Another project he was never going to get to. All tires hold air and car rolls great. One of the rear tires is actually brand new. Items I know are missing are AIRBOX, BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER, REAR GLASS, PASS DOOR GLASS, RADIO, BATTERY.
It does have the extra spare tire and some extra parts to go with it, console, one headlight with retainer ring.....all door hardware for inside of door, extra fuse box cover, dash vent, extra set of wipers and some other odds and ends.
