Description of 1973 Triumph TR-6 TR6 |
| Listed for sale is a 1973 Triumph TR6. The Triumph is in good condition runiing very well with many new parts installed including new clutch. reconditioned flywheel. rebuilt Zenith Stromberg carburetors. new fuel tank. new front brake rotors. brake hosed. and pads. rebuilt calipers. new rear wheel cylinders. rear brake hoses hardware. shoes and reconditioned drums. new rear shock links. new front wheel bearings. new green original coolant hose kit. and new battery. All Fluids have been changed. Tires are new with less then 100 miles. Wire wheels are in decent condition and are original Dunlop 72 spoke painted wires. Hub to spines are in good condition. All the gauges I believe are in working order. All turn signals. brake lights. running lights. charging system. and ignition systems are in correct working order. The Triumph just passed the Missouri State Vehicle Inspection. Body is in good condition with the drivers side floorboard having been replaced. Rockers and under body are all solid. Left rear fender has been repaired and is in primer on the far corner. Body gaps are very nice with no apparent wrecks. Inner wheel wells are nice and undamged. Frame is nice with no damage or twist. Paint is an original Pimento Red color that has been resprayed over the original French Blue. Car sits very straight on the suspension and drives very wel. engine starts and runs very smooth with the oil pressure between 30 and 70 psi when warm. No knocks. excess ticking. or oil leaks. Brakes and clutch work very well. Interior seats have been re done. Dash has been refinished and is in very nice condition. Interior rugs and door trim window moldings have been removed with new window moldings included. i am selling this car for my suddenly decease best friend's mother. Much of the mechanical and rebuild work was performed at a British restoration shop with final road worthiness performed to pass MVI inspection. Items are the picture unless otherwise stated.
