Description of 1993 Honda Civic EX |
Selling my 1993 civic ex. It has a jdm h22a engine with lsd m2b4 transmission from HMO. I have owned this car since 2013 and honestly do not drive her as much as i would love to. I originally purchased the car with the stock D16z6. shortly after I decided I wanted more power and after months of research i decided the H22a was the perfect power plant for my needs and wants. I have invested a ton of time and money in to this car and it saddens me to not have time for it anymore. A few months ago i sold my datsun 280z here on ebay and the new owner is finally putting it to use and i think its time to let this one go as well. Modifications:
The paint job on it is a one of a kind 4 stage paint job. It is a white base coat followed by a HOK glow in the dark pigment followed by a chameleon pearl and finished off with 4 coats of clear. Car does glow in the dark after being charged up with light. During the daytime depending how the sun hits the car the pearl will switch from from green to blue to red to violet. Paint is approximately 3 years old and still in good condition. There is a paint chip on the front lip and on the passenger side skirt (see pictures) The carbon fiber trunk and bumper are older and do have signs of fade/stress cracks they are in fair shape but nothing to brag about. I will include OEM style hood and trunk that match the car's color. Mechanical: The power plant is the JDM H22a motor that originally comes in the Japanese prelude. This swap was purchased from HMO about 7 years ago, I do not know the exact millage in the swap but i am sure it is way below 80K miles, Engine is very healthy does not burn oil nor does does it skip a beat. Idle sits firm at 850-900 rpm when warmed up. The transmission is the M2b4 transmission it shifts great with no grinds or pop outs, it has a stage 2 clutch and it grips real strong with out slippage. Heating & Cooling: Vehicle does not have AC, Some AC lines are still there as i was planning on fitting AC in it but never go around to do that, The heater is bypassed as I live in Arizona and did not plan on using it but everything to run the Heater is there. Interior: The seats came out of an EP3 civic and where re done in leather and suede, They are on stock rails so it sits as OEM seats, The rear seats have been removed and replaced by a rear cover. that is bolted down by the stock rear seat brackets. I do have OEM rear seats and can include them if wanted. The steering wheel is a deep dish steering wheel that is detachable due to the NRG slim hub quick release. Issues & annoyances Mostly Everything works on the car, but i will list all known flaws with the car so there is no surprises. Wiper switch, it does not hold its own weight and with a minor bump the wipers will power on, I currently have a piece of paper holding it up. Moon roof, It works but with its age you have to give it a small push up for the tilt option, Besides that car is very solid and has never given me any issues, I have driven it outside the state a few times and has never given me any issues and still averaged 31 MPG Only thing i will recommend in the near future is new front tires, I am running really soft tires and they only have about 25 percent life left. DISCLAMER With that being said I have tried to describe the vehicle to the best of my knowledge, if i missed anything please ask me and i will answer your question to the best of my ability. Car is being sold As-is with no warranty. Since i have taken ownership of this vehicle I have registered it in an emission exempt county so i am unsure it it will pass in your county. Please serious bidders only, Car is being listed without a reserve so if you bid there is a chance you will win. There is a small non refundable deposit due at end of sale to ensure bidder will pick it up. I am willing to have unit shipped at buyers expense after funds have cleared via certified check. If local pickup cash is the only form of payment accepted and paypal will only be used for deposit. I have sold 4 vehicles in my lifetime using ebay and have yet to get a negative review so bid with confidence :) FULL PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 5 DAYS FROM AUCTION END DATE. |
