Description of 1991 Honda CRX

1991 Honda CRX HF. This classic little Honda has served as my wife's daily driver for over four years now. She had always wanted a CRX and we purchased this car on eBay in Dec 2010 and have enjoyed every minute behind the wheel. We are only offering it for sale because my wife is ready for a car with modern features (like power steering and power windows). We have set a reserve (at the price we paid in 2010) and if reserve is not met we are happy to keep it!This car is 98% stock. only additions are tinted windows and professionally installed seat heaters - that's right. a Honda CRX with heated seats! This is the HF (high fuel) model with a 5 speed manual transmission. The transmission shifts with all the smoothness you expect from Honda. Car regularly gets 45+ mpg (a bad tank is low 40's. we've seen as high as 53 mpg on a road trip). A/C works great. Car was repainted in 2013 after original red had faded. as Honda's red tends to do over time. This is not a perfect show car. but a very. very nice example of one of Honda's best-loved little cars. The exterior of this car is in very good shape. There are a few small dings and the trim around both rear side windows is spotted (Both doors have new-old-stock trim). In 2013 both rear wheel wells were just starting to show rust. this was professional repaired when the car was painted. We have never seen any indication of the rust returning. The interior is in very nice shape. The only exception is the driver's seat has one rough spot that is a little worn on the side bolster close to the driver's door. The carpet on the passenger's side has a stain from where a crockpot spilled some chili as my wife was merging onto the interstate - the chili was fantastic though!I have tried my best to represent this car in an honest manor.
