1990 Honda Prelude SI 4WS 4 Wheel Steering. This is an Amazing Car, and I know the moment I sell it I’m going to regret it. However I can’t keep them all, so here is the chance all you jdm nuts have been waiting for. I personally have owned 6 of these wonderful cars over the years, starting in high school. This is by far the nicest. It was a California car it’s whole life until I bought it in 2018.It has never seen snow, always garage kept, and I only drive it when it’s nice out. The family I bought it from was either the original owners, or 2nd owner. Either way I believe they had the car for the majority of its life from what I remember him telling me. I know he said his son had the car in college, but I can’t remember if it was in his name or not. I’m only mentioning these things because I’m curious to see what the vin check produces when I’m done listing it. So, I just listed it, and now I’m back in revising it with this. I have no idea why eBay’s is not pulling it up. I ran it on 2 separate sites iseecars and vehiclehistory.com. Both came back everything checking out, no accidents, no issues. One had it as I was the 4th owner, the other said 2nd. Either way. I’m going to try to go back and take a screenshot of the report. Sorry. The car has been a dream. No issues. Runs perfect. Ice cold A/C. Everything works. Tires have about 10k on them. I wouldn’t hesitate to get in it and drive anywhere. Now that it’s nice, I’ve had her out for about a month and drive it every day.We just recently purchased 2 more new vehicles and come winter she’s not going to have a spot. I can not in good faith leave this car sit outside. It’s too important, too rare, too special, too valuable to even think about it, so I’m letting someone else enjoy it and hopefully continue to preserve this amazing car.It has a nice stereo, Bluetooth connectivity for hands free with the phone. It has kickers in the doors and jl’s in the rear deck. Nothing crazy, just some quality speakers that make listening to the radio enjoyable. The interior is amazingly clean! The pictures are terrible and really do this car a disservice. Original floor mats, and under them the carpet is like new. Unfortunately I got done washing her, drying, and was getting ready to dress the wheels when it started raining. It’s a crappy overcast day and terrible for taking pictures. I apologize! I took some quick ones while getting rained on and pulled her back in and dried off again.I know I’m writing a novel, but I can’t stress how nice the car is. There’s hardly any ware on the seats at all, the bolsters are perfect, and despite the crappy pics the seats are a rich deep black just like they should be. Dash is perfect. It’s had a protected pad over it always, and so has the rear deck. Now, is it Perfect? No. It’s 32 years old and has blemishes. A few nicks, 1 tiny dent, and other very small things. But if your looking for Perfect, I wish you all the best trying to find it. It took me almost 5 years to find this one and pull the trigger.I wanted to also talk about a 5 speed manual vs/ this automatic. I’ve had both. Now I know the fanatics are going to lose it when I say this, but.. I would take the automatic any day of the week. This is not a race car. This is not a big horsepower car. I have those too, and yes they are stick. But for driving enjoyment you can not beat the automatic in this car. I don’t want to be shifting gears while really taking in what this car is doing. Gliding effortlessly around turns, and handling like nothing you’ve ever driven. That’s what this car is. That’s what it was designed to do. Sorry for rambling, but I’m just passionate about this model of prelude. I’ve had them all. I bought an 01 SH off the showroom floor. If I had to pick today. I’d take an 90 4WS over any of them. Ok. Enough of that. It’s got the original owners manual, some receipts of what I’ve replaced, new die hard battery, alternator, etc. 3 keys I believe. I’m sure I’m forgetting something but you get the idea, it’s Sweet! Come inspect it, drive it, and fall in love.I will be more than happy to assist with your shipper, and even recommend a few good ones I’ve used. I prefer some one come and pick her up in person and pay cash. I know that’s not always possible so a bank wire will also work. The car won’t be released for pick up until that has cleared my bank. I’m also selling my 48 Mercury Coupe, so take a look it’s a cool car too. Please feel free to ask any questions and make a reasonable offer. It’s going to sound crazy just like my insanely long listing but I’m more interested in this car going to a good home than anything else. I’ve researched what they have been selling for in the last 2 years, and don’t think my asking price is that far off. So, yeah there it is. You all have a great day & Good Luck. I dropped the price for those that were asking. It will be the one and only drop. If it doesn’t sell, I’ll just keep driving it. Thx
