Description of 1993 Hummer H1 |
Just picked this up, ave not gone through it completely yet. It starts and purrs like a kitten..actually roars like a 4BT does. This truck needs going through there are a fewsmall issues, osesand electrical that I am not happy with. Winches front and back. 38x 15.5 16.5 TSL super swampers, till plenty of tread, ilitary X- doors, ice brush guard. It is an awesome looking beast from 10 ft. Some time well spent on this unit would bring it up to a very desirable off road and street beast. I am listing this unit now before going through it. As time and money is spent on it the price will need to increase. Clear title. I have the carfax also. Not a salvage vehicle. Buy it now or send me an offer to consider. I can arrange at buyerscostto transport to Sweet Grass, ontana for US buyers. US buyers need to complete the customs and importation documentation and procedures in advance of the vehicle reaching the border. (make arrangements) Asking $23500 USD 137XE823XPE143561 The good: Solid roll cage, inches front and back, olid running BT4 engine, /font> X-doors are in excellent shape 8k winches front and back. The bad: Requires the electric fan hooked into switch or thermostat, urrently the electric cooling fan works when powered up but is not wired in to engage automatically (relay ordered) Sway bar had been removed by previous owner. One torn CV Boot front right (boots ordered) Engine mounts should be replaced with improved design.Currently front drive shaft is not able to be hooked up due to pan location. It would be best to raise engine 1-2 more inches to allow for driveshaft Engine oil dipstick and tube need replacing. (Replaced) Alternator not working (currently sourcing replacement- should have in place for new owner) Accelerator pedal could be replaced to allow for better spring back. current set up works but could be improved( hot rod style bolted to floor board or heavy equipment type acceleratorpedalwould be better) Automatic transmission pan gasket has a slight leak. There is some work to do to finish this project truck but the bones are good. The engine is a Cummins Recon, he 7100 pump is in great shape($$$). I have a 2000 H1 duramax that I am currently working on. I don't have the time or space for two. Will consider reasonable offers. Had interest at both 20,000 and 25,000 USD so pricing seems fair at $23,500. If you want it for just a parts truck, e can work a deal for less, ith no VIN tags. |
