Description of 1900 Hummer Trex |
Vehicle Details 1999 Jurassic Truck Corperation TREX Meet the T-REX! 1500 where built in Arlington Texas in the late 90’s by the Jurassic Truck Corperation. The T-REX was conceived origionally as a stunt vehicle replacement in films for the H1 HUMVEE in 1996. Back then, GM was not in the picture. AM General produced the military HUMVEE and the civilian HUMMER. While this truck looks almost identical to the AM General H1 Hummer, it is not. It is a high quality replica made with a U.S. made steel body. Only the hood is fiberglass, and I’m told it can be switched out for a Hummer H-1 clip if desired. In many ways, this truck out performs the H-1. It’s 2000lb. light, 6 speed transmission, and a 383 STROKER (gas engine). Part are cheap and easy to find. 383 STROKER is the same platform of a 350 Chevy, most common/reliable engine ever built. This truck has a solid frame, only rust spot (quarter size) driver door (see picture). This is not a frame swap like “urban gorilla hummer”, it was built from wheels up. It does have AC, I never use it because I always have the windows off. I (Brand: Vintage AC) Used daily, clean title Hegarty insurance only $60 Engine size: 383 STROKER Transmission: AUTOMATIC 4X4 New carburetor New fuel pump and filter New military tires with thread and spare Raptor rhino paint New water or off radio New rear seats Vintage air A/C kit New flow master dual exhaust New LED round head lights No Mile gauge and on the title miles exempt Only reason I am selling is because I have to many toys. I do not want to sell but my wife is forcing me. Only things it needs: Gas gauge doesn’t work, I installed a new sender but I think I did it wrong Needs a new fuel vent hose Small rust spot under drive side door Google: Jurassic truck company TREX Some guy made a fan page on Facebook with a bunch of history and info on the truck. Used my truck as the cover picture More info: https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/news/a30098/this-lumbering-dinosaur-of-a-hummer-knock-off-is-ready-for-its-own-eighties-action-movie/ |
