Up for bid a beautiful, rare, mechanically perfect, clean 1991 Infinity M30. I will begin by saying that I do not want to sell this car, but I am relocating and must. This car is a real head turner. There isn’t a day when I have it out that someone doesn’t stop me and comment. It’s a pretty rare car, especially in black and as a convertible. I understand that not too many were produced and that is precisely why I chose this car in the first place. It’s cool, affordable and you rarely see them on the road. The bottom line…I love this car, but the situation dictates that I need to sell it. This is a sad day for me. Original 1991 Infiniti M30 convertible. The M30 was produced for only 2 years (1991 & 1992) and was available in only 3 colors. This one is finished in the most beautiful combination of “Black Obsidian” and tan leather interior. The Convertible top has a one touch button that automatically lowers the windows, raises and latches the top and locks it in place. Engine is a 3.0 162HP SOHC V6 Engine, 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission (rear wheel drive), variable assist power steering, 4 wheel independent suspension with electric sonar suspension (adjusts ride from sport to luxury), ABS assisted 4-wheel power disk brakes (great condition), factory chrome 6.5 x 1” alloy wheels, driver’s side airbag, factory anti-theft system, power mirrors, power trunk release, power antenna, power seat with lumbar support, tilt wheel, intermittent wipers and cruise control. The original red pin striping has begun to fade. Carpet is clean, so are the leather seats. This car is smoke-free. I was very particular about the service of this car as was the previous owner. This is a pampered California car that I bought from a friend a few years back. It had been shipped to New York. The car has been meticulously maintained by Infiniti dealers for the first years and by a high end foreign Car/Ferrari specialist in the last 6 years. Oil has been changed regularly and often way before the suggested Infiniti recommendations. The car has never been in an accident and there are no known mechanical faults, the car starts and drives beautifully. Vinyl is in great condition, with a few age related blemishes, nothing too serious. There are some areas where Velcro was stuck to the dash board, then removed and left some stains. I’m sure with some patience it can be cleaned up. Power windows, power seats and manual convertible top all work perfectly. Seats leather in great condition, seam on drivers seat open. Door leather is in almost perfect condition but has a small nick in one spot…its hardly noticeable and has been there since I bought the car. It is not bad and once again, with some patience and some know how, I’m sure it can be fixed. The leather is really clean and shows very little wear. Timing Belt and hoses were replaced at around 60K, Regarding the exterior…There are some chips, blemishes, dings and dull spots in the paint, but it still looks awesome for a 1991 car. I sprung for a set brand new front tires. These have only a few thousand mile on them, and The special edition rims are beautiful but due to age have a few areas of wear and some chips...once again they still look great. The Back window on the convertible top was replaced a two years ago (the old one was hard to see through). The top canvas is in excellent condition. The Air Conditioning blows really cold and strong. I hardly used it, as the top was down most of the time when it was hot out. I am offering the car with many Extras as follows: Extra 1: I installed a high powered JVC CD/AM/FM radio with a removable faceplate. I did this because the factory radio did not get loud enough when the top was down. But don’t worry; if you want to bring it back to its original state, I have the original factory installed radio. It is in perfect condition.
Extra 2: The car comes with a boot cover that is pretty rare; the dealer said he never saw one before. It covers the back end when the top is down and gives the car a clean look and keeps debris from getting in the car. There is also a custom made cloth tonneau that snaps in place to cover the car when it is parked and the top is kept down. This is to keep the inside clear of leaves or bird droppings.
Extra 3: Two quality sheep skin front seat covers. These are the real deal, not your cheapo Wal-Mart car seat covers, and they are thick, plush and add to the look of the car. They cost me $600 bucks. They keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They are not in any of the pictures but they come with the car. Extra 4: I have just about all service documents from 1991 to present showing all service done since the beginning. I also have the original dealer sticker showing all the extras and costs. Extra 5: The car has a rear deck lid spoiler on the back that in my opinion finishes the look of the car. Not all M30’s have this. Extra 6: Car has just been washed and waxed and is shinning like a new dime! All I can say is that I hate to see this car go. I think the winning bidder will be very happy with the car and know that if you continue to maintain it as I have done; this car has a long life ahead of it. This is my second Infiniti M30; my first one had 175,000 miles on it when I sold it! About me: I have 100% positive feedback and wish to keep it that way. I want you to have a good experience and will communicate with you throughout the process to make sure you have all the information you need. Please, no first time bidders, I have been burned before and do not want to waste my time. I encourage questions…please ask before bidding! I suggest that you get the Vehicle History Report from a Carfax so that you can see the clean title and no-accident history for yourself. I have a very fair reserve on the car, much lower than the Kelly Blue Book Value. I tried my best to describe the car; hopefully the pictures will complete the story. I have many more available upon request. Thanks for looking!
