For sale is a 1973 International Scout II. I brought the vehicle back with me 5 years ago after my contract in Montana ended. before Montana, his Scout resided in Wyoming. Over my five years, f ownership, tried my best to update and repair the truck. I purchased a soft topper but I also have the full hard top with good glass. When purchased I was told that the engine and transmission had been rebuilt with approximately 35000 miles. Since purchase, have used the vehicle for three cross country trips and beyond that, t has sat in the garage. I replaced the fuel tank, uel lines, ront brakes, heel bearings and tie rods. Has four newer shocks and four new tires with less than 5000 miles on them. The truck runs as of now and drives straight but is rough. A tune up is needed. Here is a list of parts that have been replaced over the past 5 years: Lifter valves and pushrods Replaced intake manifold and valve cover gaskets Brake master cylinder headlights Water pump serpentine belt dash pad cover Cd receiver with bluetooth and hd radio (removal faceplate) two rockford speakers under the dash in a security box one rockford speaker by passenger seat two speaker boxes with rockfords behind the front seat the front seats were recovered in the most amateur way all gauges were fixed all lights, ncluding taillights and marker lights repaired interior was rhino lined but has been worn by use. Alternator battery spark plug wires Holley 2 barrel 2300 350cfm carb distributor coil Countless other parts... I have began some body work but I never finished anything I started. I cut out the rust around the wheel wells but I never gained the experience needed to weld in new metal. I tacked rocker panels onto both sides and patches on the rocker panels but I never grinded the welds or finished the body work. This Scout needs a lot of work but would be a great project for someone with the right tools and know how. I also have other parts for sale. Please feel free to connect me. 4000 obo. |
