up for sale is a 1977 international scout ll that runs decent, drove it today about 100 miles and 1 of the back tires has a wobble in from sitting a few years, the miles are correct the previous owner had it 28 years never drove it much,it sat more than drove. i traded a very nice ski boat for this scout,it has a soft top that has a rip in it and a hard top the color is white looks to be in decent shape ill post pics before auction is over the hard top is still at his house. i replaced the fuel pump because it was bad and the gear shift and cable.but still have the original.the scout have some rust in back panels and bed and in driver door jam,i put in fiber glass filler and sprayed it with truck bed liner. it looks ok. i didnt sand it because i wanted people to see were the rust was at.the rust wasnt really bad.all floor pans are solid and frame is solid.the trans is an automatic 3 speed.the scout needs some attention like 2 tail lights blown, tires were new 5 years ago BUT HAS SOME DRY ROT NOW.brakes works but stiff.speedometer works good, temp gauge and oil pressure gauge not working, radio works sometime.power steering works, could use a set of plug and wires it doesnt have a key to start it,its a rod on top of steering column you just push it in to start it,and pull out to shut off.this little scout is a 4x4 but i havent tried it but im sure it works.this is a run and drive vehicle with a little bit of work it will run really good.the engine sounds good, trans shift out ok too but did notice a small leak. the doors open and close good.your welcome to look or drive it like i said though the back right tire has a not in it,needs replacing.
