Description of 1949 International Harvester KB3 |
1949 international KB-3 A visual icon, nd one fast truck. Body-off during repairs. All new street rod glass and all new rubber seals for doors. All wiring is new. Brake lines are new. Tyvork electrical panel. All new tires, aid apx. 800.00 with milage less that 50 miles. They have anti-slip tubes on the original rims. Custom drive shaft which adapts the T70 transmission to the original IH KB3 rear axel. All new U joints. Under the hood is a 2000 crown Victoria. Headers. Single wire alternator. RCI racing fuel cell backed up by electric fuel pump. 9 foot bed. Original black paint with its original and natural patina. Electric fan on radiator. Head lights and all other lights have been replaced. Many more caringly repaired features. It has cost $10,800.00 thus far. While we can't say this vehicle is the reason for the divorce, ere we are now. The hood is bolted to the fenders and opens as shown instead of the normal way. The original green motor and trans are part of this package. The Issues She has been stored for over one year, ostly indoors, owever there were mice which I believe got to the transmission wires or thereis perhaps a bad sensor. I feel that the brakes, lthough new drums and pads, eed more work to counteract the forward motion. Something is amiss about the transmission fluid.
