Up for auction is our 1936 Interpala Rat Rod Pickup! This truck was built in 27 days for the 2015 Rat Rod Magazine Build Off competition and took home the "Road Warrior" Award. This will be featured in the November issue of the Rat Rod Magazine. It has a Blown 305 motor with big valve SR heads, oller rockers and, VERY lumpy solid lift cam. Don't let the 305 deceive you, his motor is surprisingly FAST! It has a 671 Blower running 5 lbs of bust with a single 750 Holley. Has MSD ignition with a 5 speed manual transmission. Comes with a new Wilwood pedal assembly. The steering is a Sprint car steering box. Front suspension is Sprint car torsion bar. Rear suspension is 3 bar coil over. The frame is custom built 2x3 tube frame. Front and rear brake assembly is Wilwood wide five racing hubs. The rear end is a Franklin Quick Change. It does have 4 wheel disc brakes with 4 piston calipers. Includes braided lines throughout with AN fittings. Has a 12 gal stainless steel fuel tank. Also has a new wiring harness. The cab is a 1936 International chopped 3 1/2 " and channeled 3". Does have a complete custom roll cage. The rear half of the body is a 1959 Impala. That is where we came up with the name "Interpala". The aluminum racing radiator sits behind the cab with a cooling fan and a custom built radiator shroud, eeping it running cool at and below 200 degrees.
