This classic American pick up truck, ast owned by the same family for 16 years, s a nice stock example brought back to it's no nonsense original condition. 1959 was the last year for the production of the A100 series. The International A-Series (or A-line) replaced the S-Series, he "A" stood for "Anniversary", s 1957 marked the fiftieth (or Golden) anniversary of truck production by International Harvester. It had new lower design necessitated a slight hump in the cabin floor. The stylish new front end, panoramic windshield brought the design up to date. The hood was now hinged in the rear, ather than being a lift-off unit. The parking lights were mounted above the headlights. A step-side bed remained standard. Finished in a dramatic deep rich Green with contrasting white front grill and wheels paint job shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection, his is not a restored truck, ut a nicely presented work truck. Both the front and rear bumpers finished in semi-gloss black fit nicely and contrast compliment the body. The trim is complete, ven though there is some slight pitting, hey still show very well. The weather stripping is very pliable, o tearing or shrinkage that we could notice. Paint and body are exceptional with little visible evidence of repair or damage that we could find. Inside, he black vinyl front bench seat looks great with no major signs of wear visible. The door panels and dashboard are painted to match the exterior of the truck and look fantastic. There is a center panel of the dash (that houses the original gauge cluster) and on the door panels that are painted the same white matching the front grill. The original steering wheel is in very good condition This nicely represented example features a single carbureted, 64cid (153 hp) inline 6 cylinder engine, -speed on the floor manual transmission, cratch resisted bed covering. Temp and fuel gauges are inoperable. Original equipment white 16 inch steel wheel with chrome center caps sporting the "International Harvester"logo.
