I have for sale my 1973 International Harvester Travelall 1110 4x4. It has the hard to find 392 improved cooling, 727 torqueflight automatic transmission, nd a NP205 transfer case. The vehicle is in good condition for its age, ut does show some rust and wear and tear. I've tried to take pictures of the good and the bad areas, nd feel free to ask me about anything specific you want to know. Here's a brief history of what I've done/know. I went through the upper engine and had the heads cleaned and inspected by Burkart automotive in Utica, Y about 3 years ago. At that time I also installed a set of Stan's headers, Davis unified ignition system with wires, custom RND aluminum radiator, ual electric fans, starter, nd alternator. The next summer I dove into the suspension and installed a set of custom 4" lift springs from Alcan in Colorado. New spring bushings, hackles, rear shackle flip, -bolts, -joints, tc...were all done as part of that project. While I was in there, replaced all wheel cylinders, rake shoes, rake lines, nd the master cylinder. After the lift I of course put on some Mickey Thompson MKZ 33's. The window and door seals have also mostly been replaced. The rear window is an electric window and works well. I did a cosmetic job on the interior, nd I installed a kill switch and new head unit. The head unit is mounted below the dash, o it is easily removed and no sheet metal was cut. I did have to cut holes in the door panels for speakers. I replaced the original carb with a quick fuel 4 barrel this past year, nd have continued working on other various small projects on the vehicle like install auto meter accessory gauges and tach. As far as the body goes, here is obvious rust on the rear wheel wells, nd a repair job done on the passenger A pillar. There are also some small holes in the floor board, ut overall it is in good condition. There has been previous repair on the tail gate, nd on the front passenger side door. Frame has only surface rust. Here is what I know needs attention. The transmission slips when you first warm it up on the initial take off. After that it's fine. A reputable local shop thought it was a leak down issue, ut transmissions are not my thing. I have a Trans-go reprogramming kit I planned on installing, ut I haven't gotten to it. The transfer case has a bad bearing, nd I have a gear motive rebuild kit that includes the bearing. I just have not had time to pull it, nd do the repair. The speedometer does not work. I have replaced the cable, nd I have 2 speedometers for the vehicle. The problem is likely where the cable connects to the transfer case, o it would be an easy repair while the transfer case is worked on. I have used a GPS as a substitute. The vehicle door locks do not work, r at least not with the keys I have. Overall this is a great truck, nd I'm going to hate to see it go.
