This auction is for a 1973 International Harvester Scout II. It has a clear title, and belonged to a good friend of mine. He had the 6 cylinder engine rebuilt, as well as the transmission, but sold it to me with only about 1000 miles on it since the rebuild. This Scout was running when when I parked it about 10 years ago. I am moving and don't have the time to get it running again, so I am selling it as-is, for someone who wants to restore it, etc.. The patina is good, but there is some rust here and there, as you might expect on a vehicle of this vintage. Also, a tree limb has fallen on the top, and dented it in, as you can see from the photos. The Scout is located at the top of my driveway, but is not drivable, in its current condition. Scouts are heavy beasts, so don't expect to be able to haul it with a 16 foot utility trailer. I will be glad to help load it, as best as I can, but you should plan to have a large flatbed trailer and winch, to load it easily. I am not an International Scout expert, but please ask me any questions you have before bidding, and I will answer them to the best of my ability. A deposit is required, within 3 business days of close of auction, with the remainder paid in cash upon pick up. Because I am moving soon, I will need for the winning bidder to pick up this Scout within 2 weeks of the end of auction. Thanks, and good luck bidding!
