. This is a 1974 International Scout II. The body is in very good condition with just a few minor rust spots that I can't get to show in the pictures. It has some rust through on the driver side floor pan and the driver side wheel well (See pictures). The door jams are sturdy and rust free. The engine is a 258 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine with a Torque Flight 700 AT transmission. The engine and tranny run good. There is a slight leak on the fuel neck hose. If you fill the tank up to the very top it will drip until the fuel level goes down a little. If you repair the fuel send unit it would be easy to change the fuel neck hose at the same time. It never bothered me so I did not fix it. I think the engine, transmission and transfer case are all original. The seats are in very good condition. It has a tachometer and oil pressure gauge. The 4WD low works great, but ithard to find high range. Once in a while it will slip in, but usually it won't. Once it slips in it works good. The windows are very hard to roll up. I think it probably needs new window regulators. The passenger side arm rest needs a screw to mount it properly. The hard top was off for a while and when it was put back on some bolts are missing. Radio and fuel send unit do not work. Was repainted years ago. The original color was blue. Paint is in decent shape. The tires are in decent shape. I drive the truck to run errands a few times a week. Brakes are good. Lights work. Heat works. The driver side wiper arm is off in the pictures but I will have a new one on by auctions end. This would make a very good hunting rig or a great start for a restore or show truck.
