Description of 1957 International Harvester Other |
RARE 1957 IHC Panel Wagon, S120 4x4 Dually RARE RARE RARE, Most of you probably have never seen one of these Beauties but to those that have they do know the Extreme Rarity of these Dinasaur's. Most of the Panels rusted out, this is a California, rust free 1957 IHC Panel Wagon 4 Wheel Drive, Dually...... I FIRMLY BELIEVE THIS IHC PANEL WAGON BELONGS ON A WINERY PROPERTY SO ALL WHO VISIT CAN ENJOY THIS NICE PIECE OF CAR HISTORY...... I am nearly finished completing a restoration, started in 1988, painted Panel in Corvette Red, wrapped in Plastic cover, undercover, removed wheels and stored on stilts until May of 2016. Since I never wet sanded and buffed I started there 28 years after painting in old school paint. There is very little Patina but there is some on the Passenger upper area behind top of door. This is not a show Panel, the paint is old and there are various chips and scratches on Panel, will need new tires. I am installing the tail lights and license plate bracket, headlight trim rings, passenger side Mirror on Monday. It has the original hard slat redwood floor and the rest of the interior has been Rhyno Lined, the original 190 Silver was donated to a boat as an Anchor and I purchased a 240 BG (Blue Gray) with 31,000 orig. miles from a Farmer in Oregon. (Was in a 63 Travelall that he totaled in 1968 and he just left it on his property so I was fortunate to locate it) I purchased it and had it shipped here then I detailed the engine the same color schematic as Panel and installed, Runs like a Top, 4 speed, Dually, 4-wheel drive everything is original to the best of my ability not including the engine. Converted to 12 volt and have a few finishing touches before it will be ready for delivery to the appropriate Owner. Powder Coated everything that was removable including Bench Seat Frame, hood hinges, hood rod, generator bracket all interior and window trim, had door latches media blasted and painted in original color. Has very rare Factory Heater installed, new carb, rebuilt generator, new hoses and belt, all rubbers are brand new in all four doors, new window felts and guides, windows are all original and pretty stained but original. Brakes are redone all around. Front Grill and Headlight trim rings were media blasted and Powder Coated in Pearl White, all emblems are authentic and installed. I have the Ram Head, a non original feature, being Powder Coated in Stainless Steel (will install Monday). This is a great opportunity to OWN a one of a kind IHC Panel Wagon in running and good working condition. Feel free to call and discuss, Ideally this RARE PANEL WAGON ends up at a Winery where the Proprietor can paint their Company Name on the sides of the Panel for all tourists to enjoy viewing, (also referred to as a Corn Binder Panel Wagon)....I will add pic's of the engine compartment and interior next week NADA.COM VALUES AS FOLLOWS: 1957 International S120 3/4 Ton Panel4x4 Research another classic car ValuesSpecial Notes Values ValuesPrint Original MSRP Low Retail Average Retail High Retail Base Price $2,093 $5,700 $13,450 $29,100 Options: (change) All 4x4 15% 15% 15% TOTAL PRICE: $2,093 $6,555 $15,467 $33,465 Thanks for looking...... |
