Description of 1969 International Harvester Other |
1969 International D1100 4 X4 304 V8 3 speed converted to floor shift. 81,400 miles I bought as a project but have simply not had time to work on it like I wanted. So hopefully a IH fan will pick this up and enjoy it. The good: Starts right up! Runs and drives (Needs work for daily use). Lifters tick for the first few seconds then quite down. Brakes stop well without any squealing (But will need some adjustment) Sounds good with dual exhaust. Carburator has had a fresh rebuild. (only non-ethanol fuel used since rebuild) Radiator was replace within last 2 years (4) new shocks (4) new tires about 2 years ago Extras included: New fuel pump, gasket Original Distributor, Original Line Ticket Specs: Power Steering Hydraulic Brakes -- 4 wheel Drum FA-16 Front Axle RA18 SGL Rear Axle T24 Transmission T141 Transfer Case Deluxe Interior Trim Dual King Size Mirrors Exterior Body/Paint: Rust on driver's side floor boards, rockers and corners of cab. Rust on hood latch assembly (common area) Bed floor was repaired with flat steel as well as wheel tubs. Paint is not original in color but was redone years ago and matches interior. Interior: Tear in bench seat vinyl. Dash is deteriorating. All gauges except fuel gauge appear to be operating. What needs to be done: Drivers side floor, rockers and cab corners need repair. Hood Hinge on passenger side rusted through. Hood is not mounted to hinges. Front axle needs axle seals replaced.
