Description of 1974 International Harvester Other |
I purchased truck with intention of finding a good stepside bed and building a monster. I had my mechanic do all work needed to make truck a safe reliable driver. I am the second owner, the first was fire dept I purchased it from. I can send a copy of the line setting ticket and the original 1974 title to serious buyers. All fluids changed, brake system rebuilt with all new cylinders, hubs repacked, power steering box rebuilt, etc. etc. Truck is ready to drive anywhere! 4 wheel works perfectly. Dual tanks work fine, but gauge only reads 75% when full, but accurate otherwise. All gauges work, lights, signals etc. Has wide gear transmission so it can cruise all day in the low 60s, with taller tires it would be fine at 70 plus. Paint is original, and has minor dings etc as seen in photos, but only rust is just starting around windshield, floors, corners, all are solid. All glass is good, has new professionally installed exhaust from manifolds back. Clear title in my name. I have receipts for over $2400 worth of work. Included is a correct chrome bumper, brackets will need to be fabricated. I would like to keep but I am tired of hearing the complaints about taking up garage space. Please ask any questions before bidding, 0 or low/negative bidders will be deleted,I can send any additional photos required. Thank you! On Apr-21-17 at 06:28:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Truck starts instantly and runs quietly. Heater and blower work great. Grant County is Western WA, and is very dry, which explains the lack of rust. The Fire Chief who handled the paperwork was at the dept. in 1974 when truck was delivered, and verified that miles are correct, verbally and on the title he signed. |
