The SuperScout II conversion includes the correct ABS grille & tailgate inserts, wheel flares & door cutouts, soft top, special graphics, white 'wagon-wheels' (powder-coated), black vinyl bucket seats & rear bench seat (new upholstery) center console, dual exhaust and so much more detail done to this one. The SS II off-road package included special graphics, fiberglass door cut-outs, soft top, soft doors and side curtains, white spoke wagon wheels with raised white letter all terrain radial tires, ABS grille and tailgate, roll bar, black wheel flares, bucket seats with center console and more! This particular Scout SSII is finished in factory original Omaha Orange in and out and is powered by IH's durable and powerful 345 cid V8 power plant, with 2 bbl carburetor. Complimenting the engine is an equally rugged 3-speed automatic transmission with integrated 4X4 transfer case. This particular vehicle features a tilt steering column, AM radio, 2 speed wipers/washers, power steering and power brakes (front disc). This scout was subjected to a no-expense spared comprehensive off-frame restoration at which time the frame was powdered coated, the entire body stripped to bare steel, sealed, primed and painted the Factory original Omaha Orange finish throughout. From there, the body was meticulously reassembled with careful attention to every detail of fit and alignment of body panels. The paint is exemplary, high show quality in every aspect with every detail replicated to exacting standards. We're tempted to say this is the nicest 1978 International Scout SSII in existence, but we haven't seen them all... you be your own judge, but be prepared to be impressed with the overall quality and performance of this very rare vehicle! Best of all it runs and drives great!Features, Options and Accessories Engine/Drivetrain:
