Description of 1980 International Harvester Scout Black

If you know anything about IH Scout II's you will already know how rare a specimen this is. Handed down to me by my father,I have all originalmaintenance records including a 4 year restoration process. Its a standard shift 4 speed with a Mitsubidhi 3.2 L turbo Diesel engine. Yes, it does have that beautiful turbo whine when taken through its gears. The restoration includes:
New windshield and wipers, custom air intake, new wheels and tires, POWER WINDOWS, a $10k Paint job (the vehicle was sanded down to its bare metal first!), bed liner coating throughoutthe vehicle, new carpet, New bucket racing seats with additional covers, new seat belts, Custom Roll bar, custom door and seat upholstery, new wheels and tires, new disc brakes, new updated dashboard, a Car Toys installed $3k stereo and alarm system, Vanity undercarriage lights and LED lighting inside, CB Radio, Custom Lift Package, tires have less than 5,000 miles on them. This vehicle was taken down to its bare frame and redone from the bottom up.This vehicle has been driven a total of about 75k miles and runs without a hitch. Yes! it does have new glow plugs and does operate with a choke system. Its just enoughof the old and new mixed together. Its turn key and ready to drive and has been garage kept. This vehicle has never been in any collision. No hail damage. Title is Clean. The threeowners have been my dad who is deceased, my sister and myself. So drive it daily or just take it to car shows. You will have a bucket full of ribbons. Either way this vehicle is a one of a kind. It turns heads and you will get positive compliments and old Scout stories everywhere you drive it.For the truly interestedI have photos documenting the restoration of this classic vehicle from start to finish including the paint job and bed-linerfinish.
