This is a 1979 Scout II ready for a new owner to give it the finishing personal touch. With mostly all the hard work and desirable upgrades already done, this is a great daily driver / mild off-roader Scout. 345 V8 was pulled and given a re-seal and repaint. At the same time a new aluminum 4 barrel intake was installed with Electronic Fuel Injection, hydroboost brakes, aluminum radiator with electric fan. The automatic transmission was also rebuilt. New exhaust. New 2 1/2 inch suspension lift with shock absorbers. New brake lines. New poly fuel tank. The interior is nice with brand new Corbeau front seats and a matching roll of material to recover the included OEM rear folding seat. New tires and wagon wheels. The body is very structurally sound as you can see from the photos. It does have some cosmetic issues in a few areas. Drivers side rear end cap has paint peeling. Passenger side lower quarter panel has some rust coming through. The floors and mounts were replaced with structural steel, so although not factory correct style, they are solid. Some spots on the hard top are bubbling.
