Description of 1963 International Harvester Scout

1963 Scout 80 4x4152 4 cylinder runs great! -new fuel pump -new plugs -new points -new coil with ballast resistor -new ignition circuit wiring -new fuel filters -new muffler -new clutch slave and clutch master -new brake master cylinder -new battery -half of the steel brake lines in the back have been replaced -new rear brake hoseI have receipts for all of the new parts. All of the wheel cylinders have been refurbished. It has rust #like they all get# by the fuel tank area. This area is being reproduced by the Scout vendors and is $46. The floors are better than usual. It also has body filler in some areas. It's a 52 year old 4x4!I have new rubber brake hoses for the front that will go with it and I also have a replacement speedo for it. The one that's in the Scout has a broken needle. The odo reads around 44. 00 miles. No reason for me to believe this isn't accurate. The hardtop is very rough. but it's getting hard to find any top for the Scout 80's. It does not have the slider windows for the doors-no big deal if you just want to remove the top and drive it. The Scout still needs work. but it's a great start for someone looking for a classic SUV.
