Description of 1950 International Harvester L-162 Standard

The good:1950 L-162 brought to Michigan from Missouri in 2014. Cab sandblasted cleaned and painted. Frame wire brushed and painted black. New tires on original rims. New Hard wood flat bed built and installed. 4 speed Manual transmission and a Silver Diamond 240 inline 6. Carburetor professionally rebuilt. New plugs, wires, coil, points and condenser. New wiring harness and a 6 volt system. Has a two speed rear axle. Original radiator cleaned and tested new water pump installed new belts and hoses.Fuel and amp gauge work. New master cylinder and brake lines and brake shoes front and back. New king pins and bearings. New door and rear window glass. Windshieldis original with Missouri DMV stickers. New left front leaf spring, New front spring pins both right and left. Seat restuffed and recovered. The truck runs drives, turns right, left,reverses and stops. Has a clear Michigan title. I have a folder with the original title and service documents that are over 40 years old. I have attached a video of the engine running. The engine bay is a lot cleaner now than in this video.

The bad:The temp and oil pressure do not work.Needs a six volt horn attached.Two speed axle is not wired.Minor scratches in the paint,Crash repair done with lead on front right fender.
I have lost interest in the project and it takes up a lot of space in my garage.
The truck is listed locally on Craigslist.I may cancel this listing at any time.
