Description of 1955 International Harvester Other

Up for sale is my 1955 International Harvester R120 series (R122). Some will say it’s a 54 because of the split windows but it is titled as a 55.
This truck has been restored by a previous owner and was sold at auction for over $13k back in 2013.
Details:
Dump bed - works! (I believe it’s aftermarket)Rebuilt SD240 in-line 6 and 4 speed transmissionDoors shut perfectlyWindows roll up perfectly
New weatherstripping/window felts
Starts right up, even the vacuum wipers work!
Original 6 volt systemOriginal split rims
Aluminum radiator

The restoration was an OK job, some really nice stuff, some just ok.
Needs carb work, I purchased and installed an NOS 1904 Holley carb but it probably needs rebuild. The truck starts right up but can’t be driven because it dies on any small incline and doesn’t seem to keep the carb filled with fuel.
Electrical needs attention: dim lights, not sure the generator works, not all gauges work.
Fuel line is not hard line all the way from tank to fuel pump, looks like a temporary fix.

The rear bumper is not attached as the bracket was built poorly during the restoration and I removed it.
The bed has a flat piece of sheet metal over the top side, the underbody is solid. You can see a few small dents in the bed from underneath. There is a nice undercoating under the bed.
There doesn’t appear to be any rust on the truck except for some corrosion below the battery in the engine compartment.
I have the R120 emblems but the holes were covered up during the restoration.
Please message me for more pictures and videos.
Really nice truck that someone has put a lot of effort into. Perfect for someone who can spend a weekend and get it purring, it’s just sitting as I'm focused on a Scout project and have lost interest; my loss is your gain.
I have identified the truck to the best of my ability. Be sure to ask all questions before placing a bid as there are no guarantees. Thanks for looking!
