Description of 1957 International Harvester 100 |
I have for sale a 1957 International Anniversary Edition Pickup: To start with it's titled as a 1959. Last owner said it's a 1957 but didn't get sold new until 1959 so the dealer titled it that way. I have a copy of the line setting ticket that shows it was sold in California new. Has a 264 cu in inline 6 and 3 speed column shift trans. Truck ended up in Washington and still has a Washington title from 1987. I listed a picture of the title. Also listed a picture of the VIN on the truck so you can see it matches. I have it running off a gallon jug under the hood as gas in the tank smells bad. Moves around on it's own power. There are no brakes. Basically the body is very sound. There is rust in the cab corners. The flat floor where you put your feet have fixable rust. Also the step-up on passenger side has some rust where the gas tank bracket is mounted. I image dirt could get trapped there. Outside edge is very solid. Drivers side step-up is clean. I've taken detailed pictures so you can see the condition of body. Windshield needs replaced. Back window has a crack along with passenger door glass. All the special anniversary chrome on the box is there. Box floor is straight and solid. Missing front bumper. This is the original colors to this pickup. Wheels are original. Hubcaps are original but have been painted. I think this is a hard pickup to find and I'd like to see it restored. I'd like winning bidder to have the International paid for within a week. It can sit here until you can arrange shipping. I'll help with loading. Feel free to ask questions and thank you for looking at our auction. |
