| You are viewing a Great Little Car that is Fun to Drive. It was my daily driver for many years and has a Clear Title. Well, ne day about 6 months ago, when I was driving it home, he Oiler Cooler Hose cracked a leak. Got it home by adding coolant about every ten miles so there was no harm to the 1.8L Diesel Engine. It still starts and runs Great! The timing Belt was recently changed. It is a 4 Door Vehicle with a Roof Rack for Luggage but it does have quite a bit of room inside. The Car originally had Factory Air Conditioning but some of the AC parts have been removed. The odometer reads 57,851 but I am sure it is 157,851. I am sure at this point the Little Car needs some attention... hoses and belts need to be replaced, rake lines have sprung a few leaks, o Radio, Clutch adjustment, uel tank seeps some diesel fuel if you fill it to the brim, atch needs to be supported, ight Rear Door Latch needs repair and the body is pretty rusted. Don't get me wrong, f you repair the coolant hose, ou can drive this Little Beauty. It gets 44 Miles Per Gallon easy and if you keep it about 55 miles per hour you can get about 48 miles per gallon. This Isuzu Diesel Engine is an excellent choice to burn Vege Grease. Don't be fooled by the low fuel prices because they will not last. My desire was to switch out the Diesel Engine, rive Train and 5 Speed Transmision into the 1985 Gasser Chevette in the last 4 photos. The Body on the Gasser is in pretty good shape but I just cannot seem to find the time or the energy to get the job done. The Gasser has an engine, ransmission but I do not know the condition of them. There is no title for the gasser. So the choice is up to you... you can buy the 1982 Diesel Chevette and fix the coolant hose and drive it with some minor repairs or make the complete conversion into the gasser body. You can have one, he other or both all for $1200 or whatever the final bid is. We are located in Northeast Missouri. You will need a trailer for these vehicles and they are sold in as is condition.
