Impulse se, only 3000 ever made. Body in good condition considering the age, interior is rough but not horrible, only one small tare in the driver seat. It starts and runs however, the top half of the motor was redone and the hoses were installed wrong so it runs rich, i know this because you can smell the fuel in the exhaust and the pipe will turn red hot from the cat back if you drive it too far. if you know about fuel systems, it would be an easy fix, because of the age, the gauges work on an off, this is a collectors car so I'm more interested in selling it to a collector, this is not a first person student car. Im not holding this car for anyone. THIS CAR IS THE NON TURBO MODEL. turbo impulse didnt come out til 86. this car has 108k original miles, never been in an accident. The car is in auction now, min bid is 500, 2000 buyout with no reserve. This car is a steal at 2k, i though of setting that bar higher but for at least the next 3 days i wont. I put the car on ebay because for too long ive dealt with ppl asking questions, requesting additional pics, and making appointments to see the car but never showing up, ive even sent videos of the car running. This car belonged to my dad, it was rare the day we bought it new. The car was purchased in hawaii so we had underamour coating injected into the body, sprayed under the car and under the hood so the car will never rust. The ac does work but the blower fan went out. so to feel the ac you have to be driving the car. this happen on a road trip from colorado to california and back, the ac was good enough to keep us cool without the blower driving through las vegas the beginning of july. the power steering pump works but the pulley siezed up. I took it to the parts store to have it matched and they couldnt. i still have the pulley in the trunk so you might have better luck. The stereo in the car is alpine, cost me 400 alone to have car toys install. has ipod hook up and displays your album cover art. The tires are good but the car has been sitting so long i had to charge the battery and fill up the tires every few months. I was gonna make this a project car but i bought a mustang gt and that with my boat has been taking up my time and money. Thats the only reason im selling this car. original paint and wheels. trip computer doesnt really work anymore, displays random info. the car after sitting for the first 3 years sitting fired right up and it still does after 3 more years, the battery however is near or past expire but still holds charge. the lights pop up, the windows both work, the power mirrors work. power locks work. This is the only impulse on ebay and its not a common one. the only model more rare than this one is the turbo one that came out in 1986, i think there were only 800 of those. Im selling the car whole, not parting out. if you want the car for 500, bid 500, ive had too much intrested in this car to end auction and sell for 500 and im not broke either, i just know the car is worth more than buy now price. I believe ive been more than fair on the starting price and the buy now price, not trying to make a killing on a car nobody else still has. Ebay has included a vehicle report, they did this research confirming the car is clean. Neither my father or myself has been in an accident with this car. Purchased in hawaii and my dad was stationed at lowery afb before it closed here in colorado, the car has been in storage last 6 years.
