Description of 1991 Jaguar XJS CLASSIC COLLECTION

Here is a beautiful 1991 Collector's Series XJS convertible in Signal Red with the rare Doeskin interior (offered only in 1991) and a black canvas top.

It runs beautifully and smoothly, ith 42891 original miles.

I am the third owner, aving acquired this car in 2008 from an individual seller in South Carolina. The original owner was from Florida.

I added the chrome honeycomb rims, he red center caps, he burl wood steering wheel and gear shift lever, nd the chrome badge hood ornament.

I installed new tires, new radiator, ew radiator fans and relays, new heater core, ew rubber pieces on the fuel injectors and the exhaust compressor line, new exhaust system, nd had it tuned.

The only problem I have never solved is the A/C doesn't get cold. It's in the electronic AC control board and I have replaced it once, ut most likely the replacement board was defective.

The body is straight and in great shape with no rust. In fact, hen I had the heater core replaced three years ago, he entire interior had to be removed and the mechanic said that he had never seen Jag of this vintage as clean as this one.

The paint is bright and in overall nice condition. There is a 4" vertical scratch roughly down the fore center of the passenger door.

The chrome sparkles.

The interior is gorgeous except for water damage to the convertible top interior liner (every one of these Jag's leaked) and the seat bottom skins are showing wear and could stand to be replaced.

The V-12 engine purrs an this car runs very smoothly and quietly, true pleasure to drive.

She has been constantly stored in a facility with infrared heating that keeps the air at a dry 50 degrees in the winter.
She also comes complete with a cotton lined satin cover and carrying bag.
