A recent, ighly detailed, OTISSERIE restoration was just completed on this1969 Jaguar XKE Fixed Head Coupebefore it was placed in a private museum. Every nut, olt, crew, ire, auge, r sub-assembly has been completely restored. Absolutely everything works including the original clock!! It has all of the available extras offered in a1969 E-Typeincluding rare Air Conditioning and even rarer heated rear window.Some of the notable parts replaced or rebuilt during the restoration are: All gauges, ash parts, nd switches were replaced with newer parts. The AC system was completely gone through, erviced, ebuilt, r replaced as needed. Parts replaced with new pieces include, ims, ires, eather seats, eadliner, isors, ash, ll rubber door seals, askets and trim, rake pads, alipers, ail light assemblies, hrome resonators, oor glass, ll carpeting and most interior parts with the exception of the rear side panels and floor panels. The original 17,000 miles, umbers matching engine was pulled during restoration and cleaned and detailed and put on an engine stand for display alongside the car and is included in the sale. A period correct engine was restored and installed during the process so the numbers matching engine would be protected through any driving duty or the course of time.

The car will pass any inspection with flying colors and is ready to show or drive. A combination of good looks, igh performance, nd a laser straight exterior that is finished in a deep high gloss Burgundy with clear coat finish. Panel fit is exceptional with an attention detail. Dunlop Sport Radials, n exact match to the tires originally delivered with the car, re mounted onto new Dayton Wire Wheels, hich have stainless steel spokes and a fully sealed rim eliminating the need for tubes. Open headlights without glass covers, wrap-around rear bumper, e-positioned with tail lights below and larger front indicators are hallmarks of the Series II cars. The stainless steel and chrome trim are in excellent condition and are highlighted by theE-Typescentered chrome exhaust tips emitting that "throaty" Jaguarsound !! The sporty and luxurious fully restored Black Leather Interior looks just as it did when it came out of the factory and features more comfortable seating and an array of rocker switches and gauges theE-Typesare famous for. Every switch, auge, nd accessory have been tested and restored or rebuilt to work like new.

After its previous restoration, he past owner entered her into the Capital Concours de Elegance in Sacramento, A where it received a 1st in Class and the Grand Marshall Award.
