Description of 1974 Jaguar E-Type

By beginning of the 70's if you really want to feel the exhilarating power, moothness and the raging distinctively sound of a V12 engine you had to be part of a very exclusive group of privileged sport car driver's owners, n reality due to the cost and complexit, ery few elite manufacturers offered a V12 version on their production car lines, raditionally Ferrari had always reserved their V12 engines for the top of the line luxury sport coupes as the 365 GT4 Daytona model, amborghini had the iconic Miura and the fabulous Contach P400 .

In 1971 British Leyland decided that the Jaguar E Type in its last series production would be equipped with a all aluminum V12 5343cc engin, masterpiece road version based on the Jaguar XJ13 Le Mans Racer power plant.

The launch of the E Type Series III offered to the public one of the most beautiful and acclaimed cars of all time with a V12 carbureted version, ndoubtedly a historic and unique combination.

By 1974 at the very end of the muscle car era and with the industry crippled by the fuel crisis and tough emission regulations the Jaguar E Type stand out as one of the fastest production cars on the road delivering a impressive performance of 0 to 60 mph in 6.7s and 146mph top speed, y comparison a Corvette 454ci had a 0 to 60mph in 7.8s with top speed around 120mph.

Today the V12 engines are found only on the a handful number of elite car makers as Bugatti, c Laren, ston Martin, entley,BMW and Mercedes Benz.

This Jaguar E Type V12 offered here has some exceptional and unique original features quite possibly not matched by any other Jaguar Series II, the documentation is unbelievabl, his is a unrestored 100% original car from factor, nothing has been added or replaced except for a show quality paint jo, every single piece of the body, hromed tri, oldings, ubber weatherstri, lightning including lense, oftto, hardtop, nterior including seat cover, carpet, as, door panels trim is original from factory, echanically everything is still intact from factor, every component of the engine including even the british bolts, crews and nuts, heney and Oetiker clamps, ose, labels are factory original, ll the other systems including brakes, uspension, teering, uel system, lectrical still retains the original components from the factor, the important thing is that this Jaguar is not the "believe to be", n fact it is a real documented 27000 miles from new car, ctually the car itself shows what really a low mileage XKE should look like .I really believe this car is a unmatched one owner, ne of kind, oncours ready Jaguar E Type V12.

I have included a few links where pictures can be seen showing a perfect untouched body panels lines and gap, also a originality picture album link is attached and described belo, the engine pictures album show a mostly cleaned and detailed engine compartment where everything is original from factory include the distributor cap and wires...the undercarriage including suspension is perfectly clean ...by the way the car runs like new...
