The interior is likewise in excellent condition. the TAN leather is supple. and the seat bolsters are unmarked. The interior wood is in wonderful condition as well. with only the mildest cracking on the veneers. All mechanical systems. including the A/C. work as they should. The carpets are in good condition showing little wear. The venerable 5. 3 liter 12 cylinder motor has no issues. starts and runs smoothly and quietly. The manual transmission conversion kit was designed by THE DRIVEN MAN. a company dedicated to transmission conversions and high performance equipment for early Jaguars. The kit features the TREMEC TKO 500 5-SPEED MANUAL transmission. custom pedal boxes. hydraulic clutch. aluminum flywheel. custom bell housing and all supporting hardware; the conversion is well engineered. and executed. The resulting driving experience is a revelation in comparison to the original 3-speed automatic transmission. The car is dramatically faster and more sporting than stock. and with the exhaust and suspension upgrades. is transformed!!! The car is well sorted. shifts well through all gears. and has great feedback and feel its as if the modifications were done at he Jaguar factory. The manual transmission conversion was completed by British Auto Repair in 2012. She is shod with NEW MICHELIN tires. and the stock wheels are in excellent condition. There are a host of performance upgrades which further add to the driving experience. A FASTJAGS GROWLER AIR INTAKE SYSTEM. BORLA custom stainless exhaust with high flow catalytic converters. and thicker front and rear sway bars. She has covered approximately 3000 since the conversion.
