1962 E-type Roadster stored 30 years Click on the large picture in the upper left of the listing for a slide show. This is a Very desirable early 3.8 convertible that was originally a California car and then was stored in Texas after 1986 for the last 30 years. It may have been raced in the early years as evidenced by the racing driver's seat belts. It is matching numbers and is 99% complete. It is missing the water rails and linkage for the carbs and the generator. The car was partially dissasembled and the engine was dissasembled. The car was loosely reassembled to show completeness and to help in transportation. The engine will need rebuilding. The floors and rockers will need replacing. The bonnet is very solid as well as the mounting points for the bonnet hinges. The trunk floor is solid. Hagerty valuations has a restored 62 at $277,000. This is one of the most desirable years of the most beautiful car ever made. Serious buyers can reach me at 770-371-8313.
